Nebraska Senator Mike Johanns opposes net neutrality in a letter sent to FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski.

Don’t be confused by the ridiculous manipulation of words trying to justify their actions by claiming net neutrality “will limit the freedom of the Internet”.

It’s the responsibility of this generation, regardless of party affiliations, to stand together and fight for net neutrality. The only two reasons for elected officials to oppose a free, open internet is (1) incompetence, or more commonly (2) having their pockets lined.

You ever get those moments where you actually do stop and smell the roses? Or you’re just thankful for something you usually take for granted? I hope you do. I just had one of those moments. It’s ridiculously hot outside and it’s extremely comfortable in the house.

Anyway, I’m thankful that I can pay the electricity bill, afford a home, and live comfortably. Some people don’t have that and would give anything for it. I have a good life and I encourage you to remind me of that if you catch me complaining.

Today my roommate accidently let my best friend, Ace, escape. (I already apologized to roomate for sending threatening “PTSD Brandon” text messages immediately after discovering the event)

Anyway, because I generally enjoy the company of my dog over most humans, I was obviously in panic mode. However, now I must shamelessly plug AKC Companion Animal Recovery for their amazing service. (It undoubtably saved countless lives and the destruction I would have caused on my mission to save Ace)

While pulling out of the Target parking lot, I simulatenously recieved 3 phone calls from different sources, 1 text message, and 1 email informing me that Ace had been found and how to pick him up. All of this before I had any idea he had been gone.

Ace had only been lost 5 minutes and was a mesely 3 houses down by the time he was recovered.

This folks, is why technology could be our savior and not our demise.

I’ve got a 2 board investment into this show, so come out...
